๐ Meet Jeffery Bratcher, RN, CEN, TNCC, ENPC, NRP
Welcome to CEN.education โ a focused learning platform built to help emergency nurses think clearly, study smarter,
and walk into the CEN exam with true confidence. My mission is simple:
teach emergency nursing at a deep level in a way that is practical, memorable, and built for real-life emergency department practice.
- High-yield CEN breakdowns that are easy to follow
- Real emergency nursing insight from the bedside
- Content designed to connect exam success with clinical confidence
- Teach the why, not just the answer
- Make complex emergency topics easier to retain
- Blend exam strategy with real-world emergency nursing
๐งโโ๏ธ Who I Am
Iโm Jeffery Bratcher, a Board-Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) with more than three decades of combined
nursing, paramedic, trauma, and critical care experience. I currently serve in emergency nursing practice and bring a career built around
high-acuity care, resuscitation, emergency education, and mentorship.
Over the years, I have worked across emergency departments, trauma environments, CVICU care, EMS, education, and clinical training.
CEN.education was created from that background โ to give emergency nurses the kind of instruction I wish every learner had:
clear, high-yield, practical, and deeply connected to what really happens at the bedside.
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)

- Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP)
- AHA & ARC life support instructor
๐ฅ Clinical Experience That Shaped This Platform
- Emergency room nursing in high-acuity settings
- Level III Trauma Center experience
- Stroke assessment and rapid stabilization
- Medical and trauma resuscitation exposure
- CVICU nursing experience

- Ventilator and vasoactive drip management
- Strong foundation in hemodynamic thinking
- Critical care paramedic background
- Years of prehospital and ED crossover experience
- Extensive ultrasound-guided IV placement experience
- Strong resuscitation and field-to-hospital perspective
I teach it from the perspective of someone who has had to recognize the sick patient fast, think under pressure, and act when seconds matter.
๐ Why I Teach
Education has been a major part of my career for years. Iโve served as a life support instructor,
paramedic educator, and clinical mentor, teaching ACLS, PALS, BLS, and simulation-based emergency content.
That educational experience taught me something important: many excellent nurses do not struggle because they lack intelligence โ
they struggle because the material is often presented in a way that is fragmented, overwhelming, or disconnected from bedside practice.
CEN.education was built to fix that.
- Emergency nursing clarity
- Clinical reasoning
- Exam-focused high-yield teaching
- Real-life application
- Confidence under pressure
๐ก Why CEN.education Exists
CEN.education was built for emergency nurses who want more than random facts and scattered review notes.
It was created to become a trusted place where nurses can:
- Master high-yield emergency content without drowning in fluff
- Understand why answers are right or wrong
- Build stronger emergency department clinical judgment
- Prepare for the CEN exam with confidence, structure, and purpose
To help you think like an elite emergency nurse โ not just pass a test.
Walk into exam day prepared, and walk into every shift stronger than before.
